So no, officially they were never "allied" but because they were under Nazi occupation i'd still consider them "allied".
The plane was captured by Germans and Luftwaffe evaluated it - that's why this plane has German markings.
That make sense to me. I will add that aircraft under allied list then. I appericate you taking your time to explain the brief history about this aircraft.
