i use quad sli- 2 9800gx2's and for il-2 i can say that this is overkill (cards only tested by crysis). i think il-2 is processor intensive. the new cards would possibly yield higher frame rates, but only if your cpu isn't the limiting factor. if your cpu is holding the system back, upgrading the card won't make much of a difference
