Okay, I'm good to go now, sound mod works great and everything is in english again. I'm curious the top engine setting for Packard Merlins sounds like someone screaming to me. Is everyone getting this in the download?. I replaced it with a different sound bite from 0.6, so now the Mustangs don't sound like an asthmatic Volkswagen. I also had to change out the P-47 files because they sounded horrible. Just copied and renamed the Corsair Preset and it sounds good now. I used your conf.ini sound file to see if it made a difference, the only thing I don't use now is hardware acceleration. I wish I could make a recording and let you hear what it initially sounded like. I have an Audigy Gamer Platinum, do you have any suggestions on sound card settings?
