This rulle was made because,Jeebs and all the other AAA team members wanted to stop the useless wasting of bandwidth.
There was even a rulle that is saying "No image quoting",too but i see many don't even bother to think about it.
Yes,the AAA site is now on a dedicated server, but those images are still, making the loading slower because the bandwidth is too high, and sometimes there is even a server crash and many people (including me) cannot connect to the AAA forum, because of "Critic connection proplem".
Now,i think that the point here, that Fly_zo is defending is clear now.
And don't jump like vulchers onto one AAA team member when the explenation of an problem is infront of your eyes.
Images aren't here in the AAA site, and they aren't consuming or wasting bandwidth. They are hosted in imagehostings or imageservers like Photobucket. They are in the Net, and the only thing in these forums are the links to these websites.
You can argument with time load in forum (images can delay the full load), but not about bandwidth, because the images aren't hosted here. They are showed from their servers (imageshack, photobucket, tinypic, etc)
