I am making a shore battery by placing the stationary ship tirpitz on a hill and surrounding it with buildings and fortifications until it LOOKS like a hilltop fort.

i agree that it would be MUCH more satisfactory to have something like the Tirpitz' turret and gun sans ship that could be placed as a shore battery
