A "Shoki" would be truly sensational... always thought it looked about as "Hot Rod" as a WWII fighter could get.
While we're on the subject of "Japanese Aircraft We'd Like to See in IL2"... I'll offer up Ki-100-Ib "Otsu". This model differing from the one in the game only by having the cutdown rear fuselage and all-round-view canopy. I wouldn't know how much work a conversion would take but I'd think it'd be in the order of the Tempest/Typhoon conversion. It'd be nice to have the definitive version of the "Goshikisen".
