This is an idea from a mission builder .
What I would like to see is a better way, or system of giving targets a specific point values. This could take the form of specific valued target indicaters. These are placeable objects that can be used to indicate when the target has been hit and ,give there destruction ,a specific point value. Failing this maybe someone could come up with a way in which one can use a slider into the Target indicator that can be used to set the vaue given to objects similar to how one can set the targeted area size. Another way could be to give such objects as factories, warehouses, railway stations, hangers, fuel tanks, or storage tanks, items found in the object list that lend themselves to becoming natural targets a specific value as we do the tanks, ships and vehicles .
Presently one can use items from the statics object list to fill this roll but many of these have inherent problems like: size or shape, sufficient or unknown point values, they exploded and increase the damage done, have an armour value making them harder to destroy or have specific colour orientaions. This means that the mission builder not only needs to change them individualy over to a specific colour but is never is sure of the specific point value of any target.
Please give this some thought. thanks
