hmm it is possible that u saw that because I saw a picture of spitfire's demaged instrument in some installation folder but more important for me are holes in canopy and that I couldn't find anywhere.
I was trying to compare Spit and 109 in it. I set a B-17 against me and when I was flying 109, it gets those holes after a very few bullets but spit never (always blew up after a while
- of course I wasn't trying to shoot him down 
)
I didn't try Mk IX so I'll try it if I get at least that instrument demage.
