SUSPENSION MOD?

Be warned - some WW2 aeroplanes float readily. The spitfire for instance, even at 60mph, produces considerable lift at ground level and can catch out the unwary on landing. You might want to check your airspeed when landing. Any excess speed will result in a float on ground effect for some distance and in that respect IL2 is very realistic. I know that to my cost, after embarrasing myself on a short field at Ardmore, not to mention frightening the instructor somewhat.
