A Bulgarian Bf 109 launching against US bomber raids, winter/spring 1944... try to replicate that (not to mention a landing on such a muddy field) in Il-2, and you're dead. One of the things I don't like about the sim (while honestly, despite its faults, its a masterpiece) is they way planes land on grass fields. Sure, it was hard, but some time landing with speeds below 150km/h and on three wheels results with my plane jumping up some 20 metres and crashing down... and I don't think that should happen in real life.
