I thought I saw that one was under production, or maybe that was just the F-86 or a Ta 183. However, I had thought that it would be best to start with the service prototype because that gives you the basics and it gives '46 people, like me, something accurate and American to fly against those pesky Migs and 183's over Europe or Japan. Then one could build the P-84B which was, my mistake, only different from the YP-84A by the use of the M3 Browning instead of the M2 and from there go onto the more reliable F-84D which was the start of the Thunderjet legacy in Korea...
