We're getting closer to the "handful of gravel on a tin roof" sound, the way WWII vets always described the sound of bullets hitting their planes. Have you ever been standing in a tin shed when someone throws a bunch of gravel on the roof? It's a very distinct sound that makes you almost jump out of your skin.
