BoB releasing date ....

Well guys i don't post very often but i couldn't resist a few lines....first off to the guy going on about the 2nd world war..i can understand many people have strong opinions about war! but please this isnt the place to start rationalising the ethics here...this is a site that takes pride in the AIRCRAFT that flew in that war....i may be wrong but most guys here would love the fw190 or me109 just as much as a spitfire or mustang...to us its not about sides or who did what and the resulting demise and sad result of politics gone mad! Its about the Aircraft themselves along with all the aspects of their roles and capabilities...this of course includes all the amazing ground structures and other stuff that makes it a great simulation.

I personally love the many innovative designs and different approaches taken by different countries to produce the many amazing flying machines used in the defence or attack roles of their countries in ww1 and 2.

I was at the RAF museum at Cosford in the uk the other day and they had all sorts of engines showing the complex and amazing designs, it was interesting to see the different approach taken with the big air cooled radials against the inline v engines from other designers...i will post some pics later of them later.

I personally cant wait for oleg and his amazing team to give us what in reality is something extremely special and amazing..VERY possibly the best flight sim engine to be released for many many years to come...

Oleg is without a doubt a great genius with a deep understanding and love for what he does.... i count myself very privileged to eventually be flying with his and his teams creation!....

I cant see the sim being released much later than 2010...it would be nice to see it this xmas but i would rather wait and Oleg release a finished product than a buggy 3 quarters done release...

And looking from the shots its already a masterpiece....in my eyes possibly the finest piece of software to be released!

I would just like to thank everyone here for making this site what it is and its collective talents to constantly strive to add immense pleasure to il-1946......
