I understand how the tracers work, my issue was that with a tight grouping of MG's in the nose of the P80, the tracers come out in clusters, a blob of tracers..then a gap..then a blob of tracers and another gap. I've seen the gun films..it should look more like a P38's (obviously minus the 20mm) where there is a consistant stream of bullets in more or less a line out to the convergence point...
