MG Tracer Presentation..

aviatorsneah Wrote:i did a little test w the p80...and i think that what you mean stems from the fact that the MGs (in ANY airplane) don't fire unsynchronized as they would in real life. this fact has been brought up before about the game limitation. if you look at any airplane that, say, has MGs or canons in each wing....the tracers will leave each wing at the same time (guns firing in sync...which is not necessarily realistic). i think thats why you see the globs from the p80. all guns in the nose...all tracers leaving at the same time...a glob of tracers followed by a glob of tracers, when in reality it would be spread out randomly.

That's exactly what he's been trying to say and I do agree with him, it is really annoying.
I don't think it's the syncronized guns that's the problem, it's the fact that the tracers apparantly are in the exact same place on the ammo belt on every gun, and thus make non solid lines of tracers if continuously fired. |== ------ ------- ------- if you will...

Try out the Spitfire mkVc(4) for instance; the first time you fire, they're synchronized, but if done correctly, you can tap the trigger and force them out of sync so you get more "spread of the tracers.
