destroyed palm trees and war-torn terrain?
#1

Hi all, I was looking at some photos of places like Tarawa and such after they were invaded, and I noticed something that we currently don't have in-game- the look of a battlefield. If you look at many of the atolls where battles took place, you will see that most of the vegetation has been burned away, the ground is pockmarked with craters, strewn with debris, and blackened by fire. Most of the palm trees are almost always burned, the leaves wilted and black. is there any way we could get a destroyed palm object in game (hopefully with as much or more detail as the current palms) or make a "destroyed" mesh for the current palms? If we could get that, and some "battlefield/post-invasion" textures for at least some of the pacific maps, that would go a REALLY long way towards making the game as realistic as possible. I'm actually considering trying my hand at some of the Tarawa textures, but don't wait up for them...
