Other madcap scheme was the nuclear powered aircraft (and most think that germans had the most crazy ideas :lol: ). I think only X-6/NB-36H would be the only fitting in '46.. hardly.

I can't believe you bloody FOUND this, I have been looking for soviet submarine aircraft hybird aircraft for ages and couldn't find information on it! And at the same time, I learned something new and that is about Convair X-6 and same thing goes to steam powered engine AC.
