Well i thout, most bb (battle ships) from WWII had catapults, that could launch small float planes. like the a6m-n and some subs like the I-400 could launch some planes like the uhhhhhh, for get the plane that launches from it and they can launch ohka suicide planes that had extra fuel for long range attack (fuel for about 50 miles or so)
