I also would like tracers removed as they tend to missjudge the actual shot solution, obscures the target and gives away the attack if you do not destroy the adversary with the first shots.
I have been using no-tracers for years in WB and AH with .50cal and I can garantee that any already good shot would get much better results. I specially love those long distance shots (800-1000 m) at turning targets exposing the pilot and the upper side of the plane.... no tracers would be definitevely a big plus in those circumstances.
In real life it was the same, specially since K-14 sights were installed. It is mentioned in several books.
