farang65 Wrote:This is FantasticActually the next update of Forgotten Countries, in addition to more countries added, will feature menu musics for every single country, thanks to Cracken's fantastic work. You'll be blown away! :o
I am orignally from Canada but have lived in Australia for many years and now Thailand.
Canada 1951 I think that is when it came out Oh Canada should be easy to find on the net
Australia I'd prefer Waltzing Matilda for the war period.
I'll find out how old the National Thailand song is and see if it's fitting for your project. They play it here over load speakers at 8 am and 6 pm.
I like Bolivia's song.

Mission_bug Wrote:Hello Sanka, I have had no problems installing the latest version of this superb mod, but I have a problem in the FMB. Basically if I try to select the static Spitfire MK.I and set it for the Blue side I get an error message, when I click to close that the game crashes to desktop, Could this be a problem caused by your mod? Why was I trying to set a MK.I to Blue you may ask? Well the Estonian Air Force was going to purchase some but they were never delivered so I was trying out the markings. The Estonian markings also map strangely on some aircraft. I like the static aircraft you have set for various nations, neat, but the Spanish 109 has a code on the skin and a further one added by the mod, an uncoded scheme would be better. Thanks a lot Pete.
I am also having to update my Thai and Vichy campaigns, left the markings option turned on, messed up some of the videos and put Thai and French insignia on the skinmod files I put with the campaign. Ah well the price of progress I guess. Wink
Wishing you the very best, Pete. Very Happy
Actually I have not checked how the FMB works with the mod, thanks for pointing out the problems with static planes I'll see what I can do.
jopped Wrote:I got it working now, after reinstalling it all...Strange that some markings aren't working for you... Check if you don't have any other mod dealing with markings, also if you don't have another regiments.ini file in your MODS folder.
Some markings indeed do not work, like that of Italy (axis post 1943), or south korea...
Still, great mod, love it!

BTW, as another user pointed out, it is recommended to use Forgotten Countries with IL-2 running in OpenGL mode. The game was designed to use OpenGL, and it is always recommended to use it over DirectX mod, otherwise you may have graphical glitches.

Downloaded, installed, testing.... All working just fine. Anything missing?... No. Ye gods, it looks complete. Has Caldrail lost this battle? Can he find something to whinge about? All right Sanka, you've defeated me this time... Wink
Seriously, great stuff. Smile
