The fact that you mention this 'effect' from a movie shows it's origin... I would say that it would be unrealistic.
Think about it - if a flak burst is close enough to shake a plane with its shockwave, then it is close enough to pepper said aircraft with the pieces of shrapnel at the forefront of that shockwave. You'd experience the 'effect' once, before you're plane plummets to earth. You might survive two or three in a bomber I suppose, but your ship would be in a sorry state.
