If we look at the painting of the last stand of the 66th (inspiration for 3 of
the soldiers [see if you can guess which!]) the colour bearer does have a revolver out:

And in such things, they do tend to fight, with swords, pistols or the flag staff. Mine stands
there like a lemon because i'm not a good drawer. I'd've redone him entirely, but i rather
liked the way the colour was drawn, so he stayed. :lol:

the drawing is darker, you can see more details of the ground and crowd in the real thing, i just
scanned it inneptly! Still, it was 1 o'clock in the morning! :roll:
