I hope they've learned that a staggered release will kill sales, as there are 3 kinds of "shoppers":
-the buyers.
-the pirates.
-the "I want it now" any way I can get it crowd.

I would classify myself in the latter group. This group is willing to buy it, but waiting 10 working-days is too much, so a download is the thing they go for.
