I have disabled the GreyCurvingSmokeTrail mod and I only get this new smoke on certain guns. Others still seem to have the smoke from the Curling Smoke Trail mod. I don't understand why.

The file for it is most likely in another one of your mods. Search for the file name and you'll see. Its probably in some effects mod you have.
