You probably already have this but just incase you don't, there's a mod that changes the appearance of the mk ix. It makes the rudder curved and changes the intake scoop to make it an earlier model mark ix. I don't know where to get it on it's own, but I think I got it included with the Biggin Hill campaign. As I said, you probably know about this, but if not it may be of some help to you.
