Hehe, I've just registered there (with number 57; 5 for my combat and 7 for aerobatic numbers), will look to race this saturday if there are free slots. I've seen there are lots of downloadable skins, tracks, race scenarios, and all needed.
Good thing to read the rules when registering, there I've seen the start procedure you use is very similar if not equal that ours, but we have differencies in penalties. We race in AVA since 3 years ago, when we started to make official competitions under Catalan Aviation Federation (that's just a region of Spain and it's not extended to all regions, but at least it's as official as a real aviation championship here in Barcelona). Races are one of the competition modalities in the Virtual Championship of Catalonia, which is physically made on LAN in Barcelona. This means there are official judges controlling nobody uses external views after takeoff. The tension and nerves lived in a LAN championship... it can't be described!
I also observe on the tracks that you use to race in a restricted style, everyone in the same plane. I've always wanted to try this, since we are more focused on unlimited category (mono engined piston planes, free chose of own plane).
I may have not racing skins for all planes, there's a way to know what plane will be used before the race so I can prepare a skin?
