Well, true. Point I'm hoping to make is you don't necessarily need new buttons files to change/fix sound problems. And if someone really needs a sound bug fixed, they could even ask someone (like me) who would help them in a heartbeat.

Anyway, I believe that last little entry in buttons for each plane (the [SOUND] entry) is just giving you a default set. So I don't see any reason why you can't change anything with presets/samples. I've done it alot. Hmmm... I'd have to look at how the sound entry for buttons effects the sounds from presets/samples. But I don't think it is preventative in any sense.... So if that's the only thing holding someone back from using some plane they want, then I'd personally say to go for it. I'll even help ya patch the sounds if you ask. :wink:
