Remember we have people of these forums are not 100% computer savvy. The solutions we offer here have to offer ease of use and faultless installations to everyone.

Anyway, I believe that last little entry in buttons for each plane (the [SOUND] entry) is just giving you a default set. So I don't see any reason why you can't change anything with presets/samples. I've done it alot. Hmmm... I'd have to look at how the sound entry for buttons effects the sounds from presets/samples.

Also in the engine model data files there are lines that specify what prs file to use with each engine. Sometimes people change them or they add new engines, that's what happened with the SAS Buttons, it allocated the P-51, Spitfire, & Hurricane sounds to the Packard-Merlin.prs instead of the usual Rolls-Royce-Merlin.prs, hence why the sounds disappeared.
