She is now done, here is the rest of the work:
First decal applied, and some scratching to reproduce flaking paint.
Tail surfaces are also decals. I decided to use them rather than to paint the tail. They go on quite well. Another one of my mistakes is shown here. I applied the stripe backwards, then accidentally tore it. :-? Typical Roman work.
Here the rest of the cockpit parts are added, the anti-glare area on the nose is painted, and other details are decalled and painted. It's ready for a gloss coat to seal everything in. You can also see the "replacement panels" I made to cover my mistake.

Despite all the mistakes, some of which i didn't bother to point out, I think this is my best build. I learned a lot, and hope to do better next time. (Hopefully I'll get started on the Revell PBY Catalina waiting for me at home) Thanks everyone for your comments and suggestions.
