No one knows until the official 4.09 patch is released for general use.
I remember reading somewhere that 4.09 would not be incompatible with mods.
Maybe someone from the Diadalus 4.09 team can comment?
Since there are new aircraft involved then I expect the buttons file will need to be updated to include these.
Then there are all the amendments to *.ini and *.properties files etc.
I dont know how close UI 1.2 is to release but it would be a good idea to wait for the official 4.09 patch so that IL2VersionSwitcher can be configured to work with it. At the moment the switcher works very well but there are no aircraft additions involved in switching from 4.08 to 4.09beta
