I backed up this files:

fb_3do19.SFS
fb_3do20.SFS
files.SFS
fb_maps15.SFS
il2fb.exe

Unzipped the 4.09m to another folder

Manually dragged those (4.09m ones) files to my Il2 1946 folder and replaced the old ones.

Then copies the following files from the SAS file:

files.SFS
il2fb.exe

Then manually added the lines from the .inis in SAS for clear install (look at the bottom of the inis for the new stuff) to:

air.ini
weapons_ru
planes_ru
all.ini

And finally the buttons

And voila!
4.09m with mods

Theres a fix for the Russian Messages out there...
Also can copy the Dgen thing from the mod activator...but no idea what it does
