Now that they've got past the teething problems of how to organise their team and how to organise a release, I'm sure they'll be making a lot more progress. I'm definitely looking forward to dual throttle control and AI triggers, and while I'm not particularly interested in the radar stuff, I know that there are plenty of people who are. I guess this patch is as much a proof-of-concept as an actual release, really. I hope they stick to improving the things that most modders can't do just yet, like it seems they're aiming to do with 4.10/5.0.
i am not saying daidalos have done a bad job, and i hope they do make some more.

Remember they took on the 409 patch fairly recently in order to complete the work Oleg started. AFAIK, they are quite a small team so it's not really fair to compare the content of 409 with UI 1.1, which combines the work of a great deal more people.not really, especially as ,( if you had read interviews with oleg) this was given away to someone else over 2.5 years ago for completion, and this point was re-enforced a year later when he also said that il2 support from him was ended after the 3rd party had finished the final patch.
So, excuse me for being a ......tad unexcited at what i have seen in this loooooooooooong awaited 409 finalisation.
