I too only play offline and prefer to add only the planes and effects mods that I want. I recently installed the UI to replace a bodged together array of mods added over time. I have to admit that I liked the effect of having the UI as it had some features that I didn't have and liked. However, I now want to go back to just adding planes and effects piecemeal and I'm worried that I won't be able to. I really like some of the mods that I have recently added, and don't really want to do another install of the same game, just so I can have a CLEAN UI 1 install to install UI 1.2 over.
Does this make sense? I also have no desire to load the 4.09m version, I'm much more happy with the mods I've gleaned from this site.
Is there anyway to load 1.2 and future UI's over what I have already? like I used to do with the new A/C uploaders. I really liked just downloading the new one and having it overwrite the old one. Or will I have to end up doing the 1.2 thing just to continue to download new planes? In other words can I stay at 1.1 and still just download the latest A/C uploader to contiune to download new planes? or am I screwed?
