I see his point. If you play various servers then u have to keep track what mods can be used, what version of the game, turn mods on and off, etc. Dont get me wrong, i think the mods breathed life into the game.

This is the same issue a lot of folks have with rfactor. Just to go racing, you have so many things you have to get right just to get in the race you want. I see your point. But I don't think, at least with IL2, it will ever be different. Sortof like the same game that exists on pc, xbox, ps3, but you can't all play in the same sandbox.

But I'll take this over nothing. I'm gonna poop when CK comes out. Just need a 20's/30's mod and I'm in heaven!
