yes, the typhoon was out for a while in beta.. but it did not have its own flight model.
It used the tempest FM.
The Halifax was released but required the AC 3.8 with Halifax installer (buttosn file)



with 1.2 the typhoon was released (as two aircraft the IB and the IB late/bubble top) with its own flight model, hence the need for the UI 1.2 buttons file.


Ectoflyer, Im not sure about the SAS 2.3 buttons if it has the latest typhoon flight model.
I haven't tried it so I cannot comment for sure.

well, I think it isn't the buttons file, because I used the same buttons when the Typhoon crashed the game and when it worked.
Maybe a hash file also present in another mod...I'll search! bye!
