Hi, maybe i am just too much biased by MSFS and MSCFS , but if i took the folders containing the JATO/RATO units from, lets say, the F-84G and copy them to another plane, like the PV2; and then i add the JATO/RATO to the payload and/or payload section in weapons_ry of such plane, will that plane be able to use the JATO/RATO system?.

That will not work. The weapons_ru is not actually needed for the game to function. All it does is rename loadouts so they look nicer and more professional, the plane_ru also does the same. Also the JATO system is implemented in the class files belonging to that plane so without implementing the PV2 class files with JATO lines etc in short they won't work and you'll either crash your game or everything will just be the same as it was...
