Freddy Wrote:Sometimes it s 35 % , another 25 % and now 40 % ... !And all are more than 5% to 10% error, which is the standard for most flight sims. Heck even some of the old MS CFS sims claimed a 1% error in performance numbers.
Freddy Wrote:Ace of Aces , perhaps you have some good ideas , and some knowledge about curves ,Perhaps? I think the testing I have done thus far proves I have good ideas and knowledge about curves.
Freddy Wrote:but when you talk with someone it seems to be always a fight !Really? Yet it was YOU who resorted to calling me names when I questioned the accuracy of your F86 simulation. After you ask people to test the accuracy of your F86 simulation. So if anyone here is argumentative it is you. The only way someone could even begin to paint me as argumentative is if the consider me not agreeing with some of your assessments and statements as arguing with you, which it is not, it is simply me disagree with you.
Freddy Wrote:For this reason , from this moment , I shall never answer you ...You say that as if I care?
Know this, I really don't care if you reply, in that I really don't like it when people resort to calling me names.
All I really care about is that my test results caused you to take a second look at your simulation of the F86, at which point you realized I was correct about the bug in ROC, which lead you to fix it.
That is all that maters to me, how much you like me or dislike me is irrelevant to me.
Freddy Wrote:A lot of people ask you to stop but you continue and you follow only your idea ...You can spin it anyway you like, if it helps you to get to sleep at night thinking you never resorted to calling me names, fine! What ever works for you! Just know that it does not make it true!
Freddy Wrote:It would be better too for you to learn how to make a mod for this simulator and to do something by yourself ....It would be better if you didn't take all this so personal. My god, you make a bold statement that your F86 is more realistic than anyone else and even go as far as to ask people to test it, and than you get mad at the people who actually take the time to test it and find an error!
Freddy Wrote:But all this was already said ....Again, if believing that helps you sleep at night, so be it. You can say it a thousand times if you like! Just know it does not make it fact.
Freddy Wrote:You are free to make all the tests you want ,I knew that, I even told you that I don't need your permission to test anything.
Freddy Wrote:and to find some day 25% , another day 10 % , or perhaps 100 % , I don t care , I know how to make my own test , thanks and bye ! ... :wink:Yes and how much you know about making it shows in how you claimed your F86 was more realistic than the 'others' (read PeterDs).
When in fact it contains a bug/error that results in a 35% error in the ROC!
At least now you know now that I showed/proved it to you!
Thus, I question your ability to make your own test.
Like I said early on.
Two guys flying around on line is not how you test the performance of a plane, in that kind of testing tells you more about the relative luck/skill of the pilots than how realistic the FM is.
Thus you might want to re-think that test method of yours, consider trading it in for a more formal and real world approach.
Just a thought!
