Stumbled over the solution by accident,checking my video options to be sure i'm running in perfect mode,i hit the apply button and behold...trees showed up,so for some reason although in perfect mode,i still have to click the apply button each time after starting up IL-2!
But what a difference those trees make,wow!
I only don't understand why Canon did the airfields terrain in low res,but hey you don't hear me complaining!
