I've Amd 64 X2 Dual Core 6400 3.36Ghz - 4Gb DDR2 Ram - 280GTX 1Gb - WinXp.

Slowdowns (from 60/58 stable fps with sync on to 22/29 fps with heavy stutterin') happens around north-east coast of Goikul and coast north of Mukero.

I've tried to reduce tga's size as you suggest but that not solve Might be too much surf (damn' BeachBoys!)
