Hello, everyone
Once again, I must express my humble little opinion about what I see.
Turul and Team:
The land in the map looks to be making good progress. Unlike stock IL-2, the land textures are much more randomized. There is more variety of colors. I must look hard to see repeat patterns, unlike IL-2 which has obvious carpet patterns. The roads are straight or curved where you would expect. Rivers and roads no longer have sharp angles but are slithering naturally through the country. Textures, too, have more random appeal. Overall, a wider range of variety is shown.
About the aircraft, I see fabulous glass and glass frame detailing. The paint is more realistic, being a balance of flat and shine in the paint on the skin, just like typical World War Two aeroplanes. The surfaces which are supposed to have round, curving lines, well-they actually are round. There are no more polygonal shapes where they were supposed to be round-they actually are round as they should be. Interesting that the glass and frame shadows appear in detail on the engine in the lone Ju-88 picture.
Ah! I see whitecaps again on the water surface. The waves are random in shape, size, and grouping.
Turul, thank you for spending the time to share these with us.
