Hi Mysticpuma 
250 , 500 , some version of 1000lb including aircraft ground crash explosion share the same files .
So , anything between 250 & 1000lb & plane crash share the same explosion effect files .
Effect in the video is using similar animated shockwave that Aed used in to his FX_Revolution mod .
It's looking nice for a smaller 250lb bomb in the video but it's just very very small looking effect for
500lb - 1000lb and aircraft ground crash explosion

While we're relentlessly working on the new upcoming Plutonium effects mod , I had no idea GETTER
recently released bomb explosion mod since he's adding constantly new stuff in to the old topic
and I just found about it after I was reading your post :lol:
Now , back to work , a lot of new ideas needs to be accomplished and finished .
