philip.ed Wrote:I have both HSFX and UP for future proof. I use both, but UP more at the moment, but really I await update patches (e.g HSFX 4.2) for me to test etc and decide which I will use as my main installThat brings up a good question..
What version of HSFX does UP include? 4.0, 4.1, 4.11?
And if 4.0 how would you apply say the 4.1 or 4.11 patch to it?
philip.ed Wrote:I had installed 4.1 before UP and then wanted to test UP and decided on that as I could get the .303 tracer mod to work. That's it really. If I find a way to use it in HSFX then I'll use my install that works best for me.What is this .303 tracer mod?
Got link?

As you know it is one of the most imporntant things to me..
Being a old school simmer who cut his teeth on black wire frame planes with PC speaker sound some 20+ years ago I got into flight sims before anyone knew what 'eye candy' was..
So we tended to focus on the flight modling performance (simulation of the plane) in that is all we really had to focus on..
Old habits I guess!
