1. Is there a way to disable the NWD updated US gun sights and get the stock gun sights back for the US aircraft with this version of HSFX? I would rather use the less aesthetically pleasing stock gun sights.
When the wing tips of the A6M2 span 40 mils on the Mk VIII gun sight the zero should be at 1000 ft and it is not. The stock Mk VIII sight puts the Zero at 1000 ft when the wing tips are at 40 mils and 900 ft at 50 mils. 900 feet was the standard convergence setting of .50 wing mounted mg although there are records of individual pilots and squadrons that changed these in the field to suit their needs.
The diameter of the ring was used for determine when the target was in range. Radius was used for estimating target speed and calculating the lead angle. (Fighter Gunnery manual December 10,1943 with illustrations.)
2. Is there a way to disable the repainted cockpits of the P-40C and Tomahawk IIb so I can get the mirror back into the cockpit that was in the stock game and like it still is in the Hawk-81-A2?
