HSFX questions
#2

supercrapnstuff Wrote:Hello, i have a few questions about HSFX,
1, is it possible to get the old torpedo bombing? i cannot seem to get a torpedo to work nomatter how hard i try, and its hard hitting small ships with regular bombs
(i know i've asked this before and Fireskull replied somthing along the lines of now that the bug fix (5.01) has been released we can get this going, any "going" yet?)
No, but TD is supposedly fixing this issue in 4.11.

2, what does the Dump fuel key do (F9F) whats the point, and why doesn't it work?
It dumps fuel from your tanks. Only works with Jets and it's meant to lighten the plane for carrier landings or in emergencies.

3, is it possible to have guided Hs 293's? thats what they were, guided bombs,
Don't know.

4, how come planes don't fall apart at excessive speeds? i don't like being able to have a fi-156 dive from 10000 meters to 500 meters . plus i can do all sorts of wacky things with top speeds
Depends on the plane, but I see your point about the Fi-156. Post on the HSFX site and let them know. It will probably get fixed quick.

5, does G force limits actually do anything? i've pulled high G's with lots of planes by diving from 10000 meters and nothing has ever happened, shouldn't it break apart because thats what High G-forces do?
High G's come into play during maneuvers. When you start to pull high/excessive G's, your plane may sustain damage to the airframe. First you'll hear some creaking and then if you continue, you're going to hear a "POP" and then the plane will not fly correctly anymore. If you continue to pull excessive G's, you run the risk of having your plane loose a wing, tail or other 'useful' surface.
