Yes, basically

if you right click with the mouse on the grey window you should get a dropdown list/ options box
Create a "new window" and then right click on the box you want to get rid of. click on "Close Window"
Go back to any other boxes you wish to get rid of and do the same. However if you click off the boxes you break the cycle
and have to start over.
