Hello chaps..
I've started to use the bombsight recently as it was an area of IL2 that was a bit of a 'dark art' to me..
I'm slowly getting to grips with it, and it's quite satisfying when I eventualy get bombs on target! :mrgreen:
However, I have a question for you bomber guru's.. Sometimes the graticule pattern dissapears and I'm just left with the viewing circle.. Does this happen for anyone else?
Sorry to be a pain, and my question may seem obvious to you more experienced 'bomber boys'!!

Thats because the projector of the sight takes time to stabilise. You cant do any hard manoeuvers with bombers because their sights go out of whack and have to stabilise again.

Some excellent info there.. I must admit that I've studied a couple of videos and tracks that people have made and was experimenting with the bombsight after that.. Some of it is a little clearer, but I still need lots of practice!

i am pretty good at bombing, perhaps it is time for me to let you guys know what i know and some tips.
