Will it be possible to make the landing characteristics better?
The effects of water resistance on the hull of the H8K1 do not seem to be like with the non-AI floatplane. It takes too long to stop and also seems to lift off the water surface too easily.
Of course part of this is surface area vs. mass...
8) Im waiting patiently for this one  the only real float plane is that small A6M-N ? I can understand why it would take longer for the H8K1 to stop.... just plan your approch.
well going on what the japanese aircraft are like, i.e. betty, they are very light and need little speed compared to others, you can land the H8K1 with out having to wait minutes to stop. its a little wrong but try coming in very very low, 50ft, level stab, 140mph and gently let her down, as soon as you hit the water fower down and increase throttle on far left/right engine and you can hand brake turn it, i dont know as of yet how we or any oen can change how it behaves against water.
ki-21-1 will be fun...that light twin JP bomber will handily outturn pitfires! lol
... patiently waiting for Ar-196A-3...
