Is there anyway of enabling the AI gunners, on planes, to target and shoot at ground or ship targets?? Like how a real gunship would!!?
Because I believe the AI gunners only shoots at aircraft...

Something is definitely working "right", because while using it yesterday & today the AI did what they used to, that is parking their plane where I was parked, so at least part of it is working. The "Snipers" haven't changed in this version though. Dogfights seemed easier, but maybe I'm getting better! Will keep trying for a bit longer.

one thing i really really want someone to fix is rear gun traverse speeds...please make a mod...
i hate when my rear gunners seem to take more time turning towards enemies then actually shootin them, is this fixable????????????????????????????????????????
Is it me or is it the AI 3.04? Last time I got a fly where I got attacked by 3 ennemys. I shoot 2 of them and the 3rd one started to runaway??? First time I see this... Could old AI files make them react this way as I m only really playing since 1946 edition?
No sorry m8, this is from latest A.I. ..when A.I. is outnumbered remaining 1-2 of them they fly away.. no this isn't from 3.04..sadly..
Wasn't the AI supposed to be better in 4.01 or later, pre 4.08? Just thought it might be an idea to try with that versions AI, but not knowing how myself, or would try it.
Just realised I lost all my patches files in a crash!!!
A.I. changed after 3.04 official patch whith the introduction of "...the same engine used by the player...beta test pre-BOB release..." as per Oleg team 1c explanation in readme 4.01.
This feature would have been just a BETA TEST, BUT, as per entusiast people who wrote IN HURRY in the official forum in the few days after this release this feature of A.I. (that really after a while was discovered it was really a cheating A.I.) it was never changed back.Sadly..
