So..what!s up with this mod? I hate the actual cheating AI, and I really wnat something to cure this. So is this 3.04 mod better? What are the advantages/ disadvantages? Can someone please summarize it?

reflected, there are tons of old pages into official 1c forum (the old one with grey colour) where you will see all bad changes of A.I. behaviour after 3.04 to 4.01 patch.
I can only summarize some:
- A.I. fly faster and higher than you quite always, even if it has a Hurricane and you engage it flying a ME 262
- When you have a enemy plane in your gunsight, just after 2 sec. there is another A.I. shooting you from 6 o' clock.
- A.I. never suffer of engine overheating
-A.I. start producing innatural FM for disengaging from you when you are at its 6'
These are only few things introduced from 4.01 and never corrected, I think the most tedious ones IMHO ..But Black List may me longer as referred above
.I never go tired to remember all people/modder to think about adjust (if possible) this off-line aspect of this great game: because is exciting to fly a New plane, to play with a new modded skin-ship, to enjoy with a new motor sound.. but surely (at least for me) at the top of the desired MOD will be a MORE BALANCED A.I. Vs. human Player.This mod is for sure very difficult to realize, but I notice also that sadly there are few people who are at least thinking about it..

This would be a tremendous enhancement for us offliners. There is nothing worse than not being able to close on a historically slower plane even after you have left it smoking and shedding pieces.

Thanks for your replies! I think this mod is what I was waiting for..I'm also an offliner, and I'm fed up with zeros outdiving my corsair, smoking 109 getting away from my spit, etc...Also I can't follow the half of the enemy's manouvers, for I pass out because of the high Gs..Not to mention those sniper AI gunners, etc...I hope this mod will solve some of these issues! Thank you very much!

yeah as a new mainly offliner(new place has dodgy net :/ ) i can live with most of the things AI do,except there ability to out dive you in anything,When i first got the Spit MK.1 mod i set up a QMB with me against 5 gladiators(to ah...practice my ah...tuuurning,yeah 
) i was fighting 1 when 2 droped in behind me so i thought,no prob dive outa here and reset my attack pos,so im diving at about 650km/h and look behind to see the 2 gladiators gaining on me !! O_o wtf !!
it's really the only thing that drives me nuts as you cant use certain real world tactics effectively.so new set of AI would be sweet although i dont know if that would fix the diving thing but it's definatly worth a try.

I agree with you all.
Another thing is, when I was fly mission in 3.04 it happens that one or two enemies have luck and they have escaped from rout. I chase them and I could steal unnoticed, flying lower and AI didn't reacting, because they don't see me, like in real life. Now AI have eyes even in his ass and when distance between us is about 300-400 meters they are starting those fantastic maneuvers.
And thing that hurts me the most. Differences in performance of my beloved Wurger.
Especially acceleration. In 3.04 when I pressed the boost button I really feel that gives plane a solid kick, even sound was better.
Yesterday in QMB I was fight on Fw-190 A8 against Spit Mk IX, one on one. I gave Spit 100% fuel (I have 25%), he was a rookie and situation was set on ''advantage" (I was above him), it was horrible. Even in that situation I have trouble to shot down a Spit. My engine was overheated still. In diving I mostly see a black screen and he pull out after diving without consequences and after that he made a show of aerobatics in Thunderbirds style.
Ahhhh................anyway you know what I'm talking about.
Sadly we, poor offliners, we must be patient and maybe some day someone will solve our problem.

Yes m8's thank you all for your replies and reports, this is a right way to keep this request of Mod "alive" and hopefully one day may be someone modder with good brain will see all the interest around it and at least try to start experimentation to solve this annoying issue of the game:

There is something I dont understand by reading all your post guys... I installed those AI 3.04 in my IL2 1946 game. I got a fight with some Gladiator, I was in a Macchi 200 series 1, and won the fight easely against 3 of them... It was not possible for them to reach my diving or climbing speed, the only thing they did was to use them slow turn speed to try to escape my shoot... After that the last one tried to escape, and as I was having no ammo anymore I was just following him at distance, and he was not doing any manouvers, he was just flying strait away with me in is 5 a bit lower. So, now what I would like to know is, I m using 3.04 AI or 4.09? Because I m not sure that I installed the 3.04 AI very well... I putted it in My IL2 main folder under "MODS\MISCMODS\com\maddox\il2\ai\air\". Is this install right?

An interesting discussion.
I was still using CFS2 in those days so I never experienced the old flight model.
In general I like the AI being given some advantages as it makes dogfighting more interesting. When AI advantages such as overly accurate gunners force you to use proper tactics, I am OK with it.
But when you are penalized for using proper tactics like diving or climbing out of trouble in a plane that was historically superior in these areas, only to find that an inferior plane is gaining on you. I don't like it.

- A.I. fly faster and higher than you quite always, even if it has a Hurricane and you engage it flying a ME 262 manage your energy better if you are getting outpaced by an inferior plane. trim and manage engine better as well. you can outpace the ai if your plane is meant to. the AI are just absolutely perfect at trimming and managing it, so in equal planes they will out do you.
- When you have a enemy plane in your gunsight, just after 2 sec. there is another A.I. shooting you from 6 o' clock. it's called they have a wingman and you have target fixation
- A.I. never suffer of engine overheating true
-A.I. start producing innatural FM for disengaging from you when you are at its 6' always found it to be rather predictable to be honest, roll roll dive...
