*Sorry for putting this in the wrong section!*
Hello fellow BoB fans:
I've just finished a mod that adds 40 new squadrons to the game, plus custom skins and MATs and it thus allows all 52 Hurricane and Spitfire squadrons that fought in the Battle of Britain to appear in game with historical skins and markings (at least as far as the limititations of the game allow). As an added bonus, I've included Spitfire Mk. I skins for use in Compans' "Under the White Rose" Campaign. The base skins I used are by CanonUK and Kristorf. I've just sent it to Mr. Jolly and it's being tested by a couple of people too, so hopefully it will be uploaded soon.
You can still obviously use whatever skins you want for your unit, (the ones included aren't too bad though ;-) ), but it should give mission makers the option of having other "supporting" RAF fighter units appear in historically correct markings without having to provide hundreds of skins. It's basically "Multiskin" from Battle of Britain II imported into IL-2, so any percieved historical inaccuracies are down to the BDG ;-)
Anyway, here's a taste of it:
I'm off on holiday for a week or so now, so won't be around to answer any questions, not that I could anyway as I'm no expert!
Cheers
